Samuel D. Blackmore earned his accounting degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Prior to starting SDB Accounting and Tax Services in 2001 he spent 21 years in large manufacturing companies as an accounting manager, assistant controller, tax manager and controller. During that same time period he worked for a large international CPA firm where he earned his CPA and was a tax manager with business clients ranging from medium manufacturing concerns to large fortune 500 corporations. He also served a wide range of individual tax clients. Sam’s corporate experience includes SEC reporting, infrastructure implementation, systems implementation, internal control design and implementation, large and small business plans, all areas of accounting and taxation. Sam has been involved in all areas of individual tax planning, return preparation and related concerns.
