Tax Preparer

SDB Accounting is seeking a degreed accountant to handle business entity and individual tax preparation duties. This position is in our Wrentham, MA office but has some flexibility for occasional remote working arrangement for the right person. Strong experience in the preparation of all business entity returns and accounting/bookkeeping is required. Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Online. Experience using Proseries tax software is strongly desired.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of business entities (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041 and schedule C) from QuickBooks.

• Some tax preparation requires putting client bookkeeping onto QuickBooks and some reconciliation.

• Responsible for contacting clients when necessary

Experience:

• Bookkeeping : 2 years working with QuickBooks (Required)

• Tax Preparation: 3 Years of business entity (Required). Proseries experience preferred.

Job Requirement:

• Proof of COVID Vaccination

• Ability to work in our Wrentham office

• Ability to work on a time budget

• Must speak clear English

• Must have excellent writing skills

• Must have excellent math skills

Must have current knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and be willing to maintain it.
